ABOUT US

She was born in Rize, completed her undergraduate education at Akdeniz University, Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Field Crops in 2000. She completed her Master's degree in 2003 and PhD degree in 2010 at Ege University Institute of Natural Sciences. Between 2005 – 2010, She worked as a "Research Assistant" at Ege University Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Field Crops. She was appointed as "University Associate Professor" in 2015 and "Professor" in 2022.

She participated in many national and international conferences, supervised master's and doctoral theses, served as a referee and editor in various national and international scientific journals, and science and organizing committees of various international and national scientific events, and took part in postgraduate and associate professorship juries, and has authored 2 books.

She has worked on projects such as the European Union, Tubitak and BAP. She works as project manager in the TUBITAK 1004 project named "Sustainable Agricultural Technologies Platform (S-Atp) Compatible with Global Climate Change in Turkish Agricultural Production".

She continues the position of a member of the Board of Directors of ‘Society of Field Crops Science Association', 'Ege University Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences' and 'Ege University Seed Technology Application and Research Center’. She serves as a Deputy Editor in the Turkish Journal of Field Crops, published in the scope of SCI-Expanded.

She continues her scientific studies in the fields of Industrial Crops and Breeding, disease-free seed potato production, mini tuber, micro tuber, in vitro plant regeneration and speaks English.
