ABOUT US

She was born in İzmir, she received her education of middle and high school at Sidika Rodop High School (1994). She graduated from Ege University, Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Agricultural Machinery in 2000, she started master’s degree in 2001 and she began her academic career as a "Research Assistant" at the department in the same year. She obtained her master's degree in 2004 and her PhD in 2010 at the Ege University Institute of Natural Sciences. She was appointed as an "Associate Professor" in 2018.

She attended 2-month practical vocational trainings in Germany at two times (FAL-Braunschweig in 2005 and Bonn University in 2010). She received first prizes at the graduate student congresses held in Poland in 2008 and in Slovakia in 2010. In 2014, she worked as a Visiting Scholar at Oklahoma State University-USA for 6 months supported by TUBITAK 2219 scholarship.

She has served on the science and organizing committees of various international and national scientific events, attended national and international conferences, supervised master's and doctoral theses, and served as a referee and editor for various national and international scientific journals.

From 2020 to 2023, Yazgi served as the "Vice Chair” of Department of Agricultural Engineering and Technologies at Ege University Faculty of Agriculture, and from 2019 to 2022, she served as a member of the Board of Directors of Ege University Faculty of Agriculture as an Associate Professor Representative.

"Board of Directors of Ege University Faculty of Agriculture", which started in 2022, and “Faculty Board of Ege University Faculty of Agriculture", which started again in 2023, continue.

She continues her scientific studies in Seeding Planting and Fertilizing Machines, Optimization and Mathematical Modelling and Pressurized Irrigation Systems. She is proficient in English.
