0206616 Econometric Analysis of Panel Data (Optional=S) (3+0)
Prof.Dr.Bülent MİRAN

The class aims at teaching students how to use and analysis of panel data that comprises both time series and cross-sectional data. In this framework, specification of panel model, estimation, testing, interpretation and using the results for policy decisions are ephasized. This overcomes the lack of unidirectional point of view in time series and cross-sectioanl data. The class covers pratice data obtained from previously done studies in the world. A user friendly and free of charge software is taught for the analysis of panel data. The class is aimed to give the students the skill of doing analysis deeperly.
